Reports to the Medical Director, APAC & MENA, based in Singapore. This role provides leadership and functional expertise on clinical services and supports the strategic development and delivery of healthcare-related initiatives to the Singapore business. This individual will advance collaborative partnerships with other business divisions such as Sales and Client Management, by applying medical knowledge to support the business needs.
Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results:
Oversee clinical services, programs and resources, directing activities with other departments, divisions, and external partners in Singapore.
Collaborate with associates to provide medical expertise during the investigation, evaluation, and appropriate resolution of claims.
Review claims and evaluate the appropriateness and cost-effectiveness of the medical treatment and services.
Apply data analytics, predictive models, and industry trends to optimise utilization management strategies.
Act as a liaison and advisor for associates communicating with healthcare providers and directly engage with providers when necessary.
Prepare and deliver training to non-clinical associates, serve as resource to provide ongoing education to other business units within the Company.
Prioritise health programs and interventions based on reported/claims/health data that will deliver the greatest impact on our customers.
Work collaboratively across Marketing, Customer Proposition, Data & Analytics, Sales and Client Management Teams to refine customer journey that will maximize Customer Engagement.

Experience/Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements:
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or equivalent.
Active practicing licence registered with the Singapore Medical Council.
Minimum 7 years’ clinical experience ideally in the following areas:
Family Medicine, including Preventive Health
General Surgery
General Medicine
Orthopedics
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Minimum 3 years’ experience in health insurance, healthcare systems and/or digital health
Familiar with the healthcare system and healthcare-related regulations in Singapore.
