We are seeking a Buyer to support our procurement operations and play a key role in sourcing and acquiring essential materials, supplies, and services.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Coordination:
- Assist in identifying and sourcing materials, supplies, and services to meet business needs.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and quality compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier details, and inventory levels.
Order Management & Negotiation:
- Process purchase orders, track shipments, and follow up on deliveries to ensure efficiency.
- Support supplier negotiations to secure cost-effective and favorable procurement terms.
- Assist in managing purchase agreements and maintaining supplier relationships.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Ensure accurate data entry and documentation in procurement systems.
- Assist in preparing reports on procurement activities, including cost tracking and inventory analysis.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); familiarity with procurement software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Personal Attributes:
- Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks.
