Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for an EHS Executive:
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee plant operations to ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, including reviewing safe work procedures and conducting incident investigations.
- Mentor operational teams in implementing EHS management programs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems and risk management plans within operational and non-operational scopes.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify safety hazards, and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.
- Evaluate non-compliance issues, unsafe work conditions, and practices to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and conduct EHS-related training sessions, toolbox meetings, and awareness campaigns to promote workplace safety culture.
- Train, coordinate, and supervise the Emergency Response Team (ERT) in first aid, fire-fighting, and evacuation procedures in case of emergencies.
- Organize safety drills and training courses to enhance employees' awareness and preparedness for workplace hazards.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, including local statutory requirements (e.g., Workplace Safety and Health Act, SCDF, NEA guidelines).
- Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, providing recommendations for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Identify and escalate potential risks from machinery, equipment, or processes that may pose bodily harm to employees.
- Support EHS policy implementation and ensure adherence to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Participate in customer site visits and prepare relevant documentation as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or any relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing and/or chemical industry in an EHS-related role.
- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) is required.
- MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification is an advantage.
- Completion of the Management of Hazardous Substances (MHS) course is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 4,300 + AWS
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (8:00AM to 5.00PM)
- Working Location: Tuas Cresent
