Senior Vessel Operator / Executive
Job responsibilities
Handling of all ship operations related matters to ensure optimal voyage performance and maximizing profitability for the respective voyages
Coordinate with various parties like ship master, ship broker, bunker trader, port agents on day-to-day operations to ensure all voyages run smoothly in compliance with charter parties
Coordinate with internal stakeholders like accounts, legal and commercial departments for receivable account update, consolidation of final voyage account, disputed case, payment related matter and B/L collection
Coordinate with technical department for stowage planning, bunkering coordination and vessel route planning including other technical issues
Prepare laytime calculation, negotiation of laytime including issuance of freight invoice, hire invoice and settlement of final voyage account for both ship owner and voyage charterer
Prepare voyage statement with proper analysis after completion of each voyage
Update voyage information into central system during voyage handover and throughout the voyage
Any other duties as required from time to time
Job requirements
Maritime-related qualifications with relevant shipping or maritime experiences, especially in dry bulk, trading, tanker etc
At least three (3) years relevant working experience
Experience in operating TCT and Long Period TC for both Panamax and Supramax ship size across Asia-Pacific and Mediterranean regions
Good time management and communication
Able to work in team working environments
Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking internal and external personnel
