About the Job
We are seeking to recruit Project and Research Coordinator to support our ongoing projects in reminiscence and aged care research. These roles will focus on managing research in virtual reality (VR), conducting impact assessments, and evaluating interventions to enhance aged care practices.
What You Will Be Doing
The Project and Research Coordinator will play a crucial role in the design, execution, and analysis of research projects centred on reminiscence in aged care. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the officer will evaluate the effectiveness of reminiscence interventions, particularly for elderly populations, including those with dementia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on reminiscence in aged care using qualitative and/or quantitative methods.
- Perform literature reviews and contribute to the development of research designs.
- Analyse data and prepare detailed reports for management and academic publications.
- Organise and coordinate project meetings, track milestones, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Contribute to grant proposal preparation and funding procurement processes.
- Prepare progress and final reports for stakeholders, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Present research findings at seminars, workshops, and meetings.
- Provide support for additional tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Behavioural Science, Social Science, or a related discipline.
- At least three years of research experience, preferably in gerontology, health, or social sciences.
- Interest in reminiscence facilitation (priority).
- Proficiency in qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, NVivo) is an advantage.
- Independent, resourceful, and proactive with a collaborative work ethic.
