Job Description Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and management for the facilities organization at a specific location, set of buildings, or campus environment. The Facilities Manager is charged with the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services delivery that provides a well-managed and well-maintained building. An emphasis of this role is placed on a positive response to the concerns and needs of the tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, in coordination with the client's goals and objectives. This position coordinates the activities, financials, vendors and manpower required for current and future needs of the building and operations.

About the Role:

  • Account & Operations Management – Oversee assigned accounts, ensuring smooth operations and service delivery.
  • Team & Vendor Oversight – Manage staff, vendors, and contractors to meet operational and contractual obligations.
  • Client Relationship Management – Act as the main liaison, building strong client relationships and addressing concerns.
  • Business Development – Identify and pursue new opportunities in Facility Management, M&E, and real estate sectors.
  • Compliance & Safety – Ensure adherence to safety, health regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking – Prepare, review, and present facility performance reports, highlighting key insights.
  • Interim Site Management – Cover duties of Building Managers on leave to maintain seamless operations.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a managerial role within facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of day-to-day operations in facilities, including custodial services, life-safety, engineering, site services, and general maintenance.
  • Proven track record in maintenance program supervision for interior and exterior property conditions.
  • Strong leadership skills: Experience in hiring, training, and motivating staff while maintaining positive staff relations.
