Fleet Maintenance & Compliance:
Oversee regular vehicle inspections, servicing, and maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Monitor vehicle registrations, insurance, permits, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with mechanics and service providers.
Logistics & Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact between warehouse teams, drivers, and customers for delivery updates and issues.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints regarding deliveries.
Utilize fleet management software and GPS systems to monitor vehicle locations and optimize routes.
Cost Control & Efficiency Improvement:
Monitor fuel usage and implement cost-saving measures to improve fleet efficiency.
Analyze operational data to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Collaborate with procurement teams to source vehicles, parts, and fuel at competitive rates.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, incidents, and maintenance schedules.
Prepare performance, expense, and compliance reports for management review.
Ensure proper documentation of invoices, delivery notes, and driver logs.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or transportation management.
Strong understanding of fleet management systems, GPS tracking, and routing software.
Knowledge of transportation laws, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
