Helpdesk Technician
Roles & Responsibilities
General IT Support:
Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, WhatsApp, and ticketing system.
Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and application issues.
Resolve technical problems efficiently, escalating complex cases when necessary.
Document and track support requests for accurate resolution and follow-up.
Guide end-users with troubleshooting steps and provide ongoing support.
Assist with hardware setup, software installation, and system configurations.
Perform IT maintenance, backups, and off-hour IT tasks as required.
Conduct basic IT training sessions for end-users.
Security Management:
Adhere to all policies and procedures published under the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Ensure compliance with ISMS standards and security best practices.
Others:
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the company.
The Ideal Candidate:
Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in IT support or customer service
Proficient in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
Strong troubleshooting abilities in Windows, macOS, and common software applications
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
