Job Description for Warehouse Assistant :
• Perform the assigned logistics works e.g. receiving goods, inspection, pick & pack, inventory control, etc, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures / Instruction given / etc.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties as required by Standard Operating Procedures /instruction/etc.
• Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location
• Maintain accurate records of stock that have been stocked and reported to Customer service/Superior if any stock re-location/cargo not found during picking.
• Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice/Packing list to the order and ensure all goods are in good condition when received. Marking on incoming documents if discrepancy /damage are found and report to Supervisor/Customer service immediately.
• Verify all outgoing shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice/Packing List to the order and ensure all goods are correct before release to transporter/driver/export container
• Manage and handle shipping, loading and unloading of goods
• To ensure all stocks are correctly captured/recorded in system
• Accurate on picking/packing, weight and cargo dimensions are correctly taken.
• To ensure smooth and efficient flow of all inbound and outbound shipment.
• To ensure cleanliness/housekeeping / tidiness of warehouse, warehouse equipment is kept in good order/conditions
• Any ad-hoc task assigned
• Always adhering to warehouse safety to avoid any personal injury / property damage
