Our client is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee shipbuilding and repair operations. This role involves managing production teams, ensuring quality and safety standards and coordinating with key stakeholders to meet project deadlines efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee shipbuilding and repair operations, ensuring timely and quality execution.
  • Supervise and coordinate welders, fitters and technicians.
  • Enforce safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Troubleshoot production and repair issues, implementing solutions.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers and procurement teams.
  • Monitor production progress, resource allocation and labor efficiency.
  • Oversee mechanical repairs, updates and maintenance for commercial ships.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or technical certificate in shipbuilding, marine engineering or related field.
  • Possess background in propulsion, shaft alignment, thruster and CPP.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in shipyard or marine industry.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ship structures, repair methods and industry regulations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
