Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We are running a Japanese Izakaya, our staff must be comfortable with handling pork and alcohol.

Job Description:

• Lead kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, and inventory management

• Develop and implement new recipes while maintaining consistency in existing menu items

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen

• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to address customer feedback and enhance dining experiences

Job Requirements:

• Experience in culinary arts or willingness to learn with an open mind

• Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication abilities and a customer-oriented approach
