Working Hours: 5 days - Mondays to Fridays, 7:45am to 4:45pm

Working Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided - Paya Lebar, Bishan, Yew Tee, Jurong East & Boon Lay)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Organize material through Operations Trainers and complete technical writing assignment (Operating Manual and Procedures) with focus on order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Coordinate with Operations Trainers and other stakeholders to establish technical content and update relevant document through Operations Trainer guidance
  • Edit, standardize, or make changes to document material as instructed by Operations Trainers
  • Support Operations Trainer in the draft, review, validate, approval and publishing documents through SharePoint workflow and other Procedure databases
  • Execute Document Review process through Operations Trainer guidance - Publish materials (Available in SharePoint) and execute revisions or changes in scope, format, and content according to Electronic Operating Manuals (EOM) Standards and Procedure Standards.
  • Maintain records, files of work and revisions of all documents in Procedure databases
  • Need to work with photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.
  • Draw sketches using Microsoft Visio to illustrate specified materials or valve line-up sequence.
  • Administrative and Logistics coordination support in terms of L&D work processes

Requirements:

  • 3 years or more experience in a Technical Writer role or Ability to prove Technical Writing skills in Oil and Gas industry sector
  • Diploma / Degree in Chemical Process , Communication or English. In lieu of degree, prior experience in Oil and Gas Industry sector in a technical writing capacity
  • Strong writing skills. Strong communication and organization skills
  • Strong MS Word knowledge and proficiency in MS Outlook. Proficient in other MS application (Excel, Power BI, Visio) preferred
