The ONLY Group is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting & HR Officer to manage financial and human resource functions across multiple entities.
This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, tax and statutory compliance, and HR operations. The ideal candidate must have strong financial acumen, HR expertise, and a deep understanding of Singapore’s accounting and employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Process all accounts payable transactions, including vendor bills, invoices, and credit card charges, ensuring accurate classification across different entities.
- Generate vendor and supplier cheques, liaise with banks, auditors, corporate secretaries, and other stakeholders to ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and taxation compliance.
- Perform accounts receivable duties, including daily transaction reporting (both online and offline) and reconciliation of third-party merchant payments.
- Calculate sales and service commissions, ensuring accurate reporting and timely disbursement.
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts, preparation of financial statements, and submission of statutory reports.
- Handle CPF contributions, IRAS tax filings (including corporate and employee tax matters), GST submissions, and other statutory financial obligations in Singapore.
- Perform financial reconciliation across multiple business entities, ensuring proper reporting and compliance.
Payroll & HR Operations
- Process monthly payroll, including attendance tracking, overtime calculations, man-hours tabulation, and sales commission computation.
- Prepare and issue pay slips while maintaining comprehensive payroll records.
- Handle recruitment and onboarding documentation, ensuring new hires are properly integrated.
- Conduct new hire and exit interviews, explaining benefits, CPF contributions, and tax deductions to employees.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and compliance with Singapore’s employment regulations.
- Ensure adherence to fair employment practices and government labor laws, including MOM regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or CPA qualification.
- Minimum five to ten years of experience in accounting, finance, and HR-related roles.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s employment acts, CPF, IRAS tax regulations, and corporate compliance.
- Experience in financial reconciliation and accounting across multiple business entities.
- Highly meticulous, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of payroll software (e.g., Infotech) is an advantage.
- Strong ethics, reliability, and integrity.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
