We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.
DESIGNATION : Procurement Coordinator / Procurement Executive
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, analyse, process Purchase Requisition and request for quotations from suppliers and negotiate the best price, commercial and non-commercial terms.
- Assist & interact closely with the Project Consultants, Operation Supervisors & Project Managers on RFQ/RFP to vendors.
- Monitor the Inventory items by working closely with the project teams & warehouse.
- Follow up on PO confirmation with the supplier.
- Monitor PO delivery status to ensure prompt delivery and to maintain sufficient inventory level for commonly used materials.
- Coordinate incoming shipments between Suppliers, Forwarders and warehouses to ensure smooth operational flow with consideration on cost efficiency.
- Verify billing documents for inbound freight charges.
- Ensure proper e-filing of all documents.
- Assist in new supplier registration and to maintain accurate supplier data in the system.
- Assist Inventory Creation Team on part(s) number creation & amendment by providing Suppliers' quotations as and when needed.
- Assist in ISO annual performance reviews for vendors.
- Working with process owners on SOP/work instructions when required.
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department (HOD).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Min Diploma in Supply Chain/Engineering or equivalent certifications, candidates with Higher Nitec Certificate in Automobile Engineering may apply.
- At least 2 years direct procurement buyer/purchaser related experience preferably in Construction Industry. New graduates without experience may apply.
- Work experience as Purchasing preferably in Construction & Truck / Machinery Spare Parts related Industry.
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, meticulous with positive attitude, independent & team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment.
- Desire to grow, take on new responsibilities and establish yourself on our team.
