Job Description: As CFO, your primary goal beyond the regular financial operations (cashflow management, financial reporting, FP&A etc) is to also support the CEO to develop fundraising materials, valuations, and strategies for Flex’s next stage of growth.


This role, if as per plan, will eventually sit on the Board of Directors as well as becoming a Co-Founder, that said, this is high risk role, it requires individual with the right mindset that can put aside current comfort and jump into the risky world of entrepreneurship.



Key Responsibilities:

As peer to the CEO and CTO, your job responsibilities include but not limited to:

Fundraising and Investor Relationships

1) Develop fundraising strategies and materials.

2) Develop valuation models.

3) Negotiate terms with investors.

Finance Operations

1) AP, AR, Payroll Operations.

2) Developing and implementing financial strategies.

3) Cashflow Management.

4) Financial Reporting and Analysis.



Co-COO role

1) Everything a COO is expected to do.

2) CEO and CTO are also Co-COO, so you are not alone.

3) Details to be shared in person if you are selected.



Requirements

1) You should possess working experience as a finance professional.

2) Ideally you have some experience in startup fundraising.

3) Collaborative mindset that can excel in a non-structured team environment.

4) Must be willing to roll up your sleeve and do the grunt work, both in Finance Operations as well as Operations.

5) A Founder mindset - think like a business owner and own challenges and drive them to completion.

6) Risk taking mindset – nothing is safe in what we do, you must be prepared for many mental challenges with so many re-dos and start over.
