Nitec/Higher Nitec in Audio Visual Technology, Digital Audio and Video Production or Diploma in Audio Production, Audio Engineering and Music Production.
Possess a clear understanding and ability to mix audio in live sound applications.
A team player who is willing to work towards a common goal.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for producing, amplifying, mixing, recording, syncing and reproducing sound, effects and music for theatre rehearsals, theatre productions and special events. Under the supervision of the Production Coordinator and/or appointed Technical Support Officer (TSO).
Setting up and operating sound equipment, including microphones, speakers and audio mixing consoles in accordance with the acoustics of the venue monitor audio signals to detect quality deviations or malfunctions.
Operate both large format digital and analogue audio mixing consoles.
Determine sound requirements through discussions with hirers and Production Coordinator.
Maintaining and servicing audio, lighting, and multimedia systems, including wireless microphones, PA systems, amplifiers, and production intercoms.
Support performers with microphone use, coordinate equipment maintenance, manage consumables, assist with procurement, and perform other duties as assigned by the Production Coordinator or appointed TSO.
