As a Senior Patient Service Associate, you will be expected to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of internal and external customer / patients with the key aim of providing excellent patient care. Your work area includes working at the Ambulatory Surgery center and the main lobby.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
Perform 2 patient identifier.
Conduct triaging of patients to ensure that patients receive the appropriate level of care based on their needs.
Respond to enquiries regarding services, appointments, and procedures.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate information is recorded.
Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
Conduct patient registration by verifying patient information.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and in compliance with regulations.
Perform financial counselling and explain billing procedures and payment options to patients and families.
Collection of outstanding balances at the time of service.
Coordinate follow-up appointments.
Requirements:
Possesses GCE, GCE ‘A’ / ‘N’ / ‘O’ level, Higher/ NITEC or Diploma in any discipline.
Possess good interpersonal skills to communicate constructively with colleagues, patients and visitors.
Proficiency in M365 applications and knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
Able to exhibit initiative, a present disposition, demonstrate an ability to work independently, and manifest good team-spirit qualities.
Comfortable with working in hospital setting
At least 5 years of relevant experience.
