Responsibilities

  • Handle the full spectrum of HR generalist functions including manage end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 200 employees.
  • Responsible for statutory payment submission and claims – CPF, FWL, IRAS (IR21, IR8A), NS claims, Government-Paid maternity, paternity and childcare leave, etc.,
  • Handle payroll-related documents, e.g., increment letters, headcount/turnover/forecast reports, mandatory surveys, statistics by MOM and relevant regulatory bodies, audit checks, etc.
  • Manage InfoTech HR payroll/time management system, including upkeeping employee data, leave records, clocking times, allowances, overtime pay, etc.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports, including headcount analysis, turnover rates, payroll costs, and workforce trends.
  • Provide data-driven insights to HR leadership to support decision-making.
  • Prepare employment contracts/letters such as employment agreements, confirmation, promotion, termination, announcements, and memorandum.
  • Manage foreign worker recruitment including MOM applications (for example prior approval applications, work permit processing), security bonds, flights, medicals, housing and transportation arrangements.
  • Assist in recruitment, annual performance appraisal and training plan for all employees.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders and external parties for any training requirements.
  • Source, develop and assess training providers and training institutions to ensure the quality of training provided to employees and process training course applications from staff in accordance with policy.
  • Ensure documentation and updates of employee training records for audits.
  • Submit and monitor insurance claims related to hospitalisation, surgery and work injury.
  • Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance to relevant government regulations and company’s quality, safety, health and environmental (QSHE) policies, practices and procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management or related studies with at least 3 years of HR generalist experience or at least 5 years of HR generalist experience.
  • Prior experience in offshore marine industry will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar in matters relating to foreign labour (work passes, EP/SP/WP procedure, security bond, application, renewal and cancelation processes).
  • Good knowledge in government labour laws and employment act.
  • Familiarity with Info-tech’s TMS and Info-Pay software will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
