Job Responsibilities :
You will be working with a team of software engineers to architect, build, and deploy containerized and/or serverless applications in the cloud to support Razer's ever-growing ecosystem of microservices, data pipelines, and AI workloads. You will be responsible for ensuring your applications are engineered for high-performance, scalability, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and security. You will need to understand and manage the interdependencies of a large microservices environment, from modern, containerized applications, to legacy "LAMP" stacks. You will be a core member for the project to enhance existing single region microservices to be multi-region capable, with replication and synchronization across regions.Essential Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy microservice applications on AWS.
- Architect and drive development of the multi-region enablement project to enhance our existing suite of single region microservices.
- Develop and take ownership of critical and high-traffic Razer ID APIs microservices under your portfolio.
- Design and build Web APIs to interface with AI/ML models and integrate them into Razer's Software ecosystem
- Build and optimize data pipelines to support AI/ML workflows and analytics.
- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability in AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PD, internal stakeholders, and AI development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Mentor and coach interns and/or junior engineers to improve their technical skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Cloud, Web, and AI technology and best practices.
- Drive innovation and technical excellence within the team.
- Participate in an agile development team (daily standups, fortnightly sprints, requirements grooming, etc).
- Standby and be available for troubleshooting of production issues if escalated by SRE team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud-native software engineering with a focus on container and serverless technology.
- Proficient programing languages commonly used in the cloud like Python, PHP, and Golang.
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing RESTful and gRPC APIs for seamless integration with AI/ML models.
- Development experience with AWS services such as ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Elasticache, and DynamoDB.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with declarative infra-as-code like Kubernetes YAML or Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of software development principles such as Agile and SCRUM.
- Working knowledge of internet technologies such as load-balancing, caching, and CDNs
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
