About Our Client
Our client, is an innovative AI solutions provider aimed at automating processes in the manufacturing, engineering and retail sectors. With a strong focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences, they are poised for significant growth. In line with their international growth plans, they have identified Singapore as the international HQ, and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead enterprise sales.
Job Description
Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Director will be the first hire in the international HQ. In the first six months, the candidate will be responsible for market research, designing GTM strategies and identifying the right partners in each market. Only post this phase, they will look to hire further headcounts in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Positioning: Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to enhance competitive positioning in the AI applications' landscape.
• Concept to Consumer: help to localise a product that has been successful overseas.
• Team Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing commercial team.
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall business strategy to drive growth, profitability, and market share in the sector.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management..
• Partnership Development: Establish strategic partnerships with key industry players.
The Successful Applicant
• Masters in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from a reputable university.
• Proven experience as a Sales Director or Business Unit Head in B2B software business with deep enterprise customer knowledge in Southeast Asia..
• Strong understanding of AI applications, intelligent search, intelligent CSM etc..
• Strong network in manufacturing, retail, and engineering enterprises in SEA, Korea & Japan.
• Eagerness to build a business from the ground up, starting with market research and product localization, operating as an IC for 6-12 months.
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, sales, product development, and operations.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building effective teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
