Your New Role
As team coordinator, you will work closely with the APAC Theatrical Regional Team to support the planning and implementation of theatrical strategies of WB’s slate.
You will be supporting both marketing and digital leads in all areas of work with ownership of various scopes as detailed below. Your role will also involve working with marketing teams in the region and to liaise with Home Office (US) and other department stakeholders.
Within the Digital Marketing discipline, you are to have ownership of Influencer Marketing as a core function to help develop strategies and to help markets scale up within the overall marketing mix.
You will be supporting across different functions including integrated marketing, paid media, publicity co-ordination, assets servicing, merchandise and PO related work as well as any aspect of co-ordination that the regional marketing team needs.
Working with HO to collate, poll or prepare responses where required for each film.
Your Role Accountabilities
Providing support to the team’s Digital Lead in the following areas:
Social and Influencer marketing, including the key responsibility of owning Influencer Marketing as a core function to increase the use of influencer marketing in the overall marketing mix and working with HO to get content reviewed and approved
Support all integrated marketing liaisons, planning and implementation
Support where needed any help that the Digital Lead need such as but not limited to, social listening, paid media, asset debuts etc.
Providing support to the team’s Marketing Lead in the following areas:
Publicity co-ordination of long lead and short lead press junkets
To help with any tour planning and coordination where needed
Compile local territory marketing presentations for Regional Office review and Home Office submission
To service weekly PIX and Marketing Updates to territories
Servicing of frontier markets with marketing assets and co-ordinating the relevant approvals
Exhibitor marketing support
Communicate best practices and share marketing initiatives across local markets and report back to broader Regional Team and Home Office.
Assist with administrative work where needed such as generating of POs and GR
Continue to support the full team where needed
May be required to travel regionally to support in-market activations, attend meetings, and enhance coordination with local teams, as business needs dictate.
Qualifications and Experience
1 – 3 years prior working experience in marketing with at least 1 year of social and influencer marketing experience
Experience in entertainment and media is an advantage
Experience in working with international markets or in regional offices is an advantage
Proficient in editing skills including Illustrator, Photoshop, PDF, Microsoft office, video editing etc
Knowledge of insight tools such as Google Analytics, YouTube and Meta is a plus
Competent, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable managing multiple projects with an ability to multitask
Able to work under time-constraints
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
Open mindset with an eye for creativity
A passionate, collaborative team-player with a strong work-ethic
Love films and is passionate about all areas of digital technology, media and social media.
