About the role
Design & build functional prototype products suitable for testing, review and demonstration to senior level stakeholders.
Actively understand consumer problems in the Audio space and solve them using innovative solutions.
Design and develop audio subsystems, features ensuring high-quality audio performance.
Lead the audio design phase during the NPI process, from concept to production, ensuring product performance meets specifications.
Perform audio testing and optimization, resolving noise, distortion, and other audio-related issues.
Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and software teams to integrate audio components into the overall product design.
Create technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, functional prototypes and design reports.
Perform and review analysis on test failures and develop efficient solutions .
Take an active, hands-on role to ensure that all engineering problems are resolved thoroughly.
Stay current with industry trends and audio technologies, applying new techniques to improve product designs.
About you
A degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in a relevant role, working on complex and challenging technical problems.
A creative and considered approach to problem solving, following clear design processes.
A practical and methodical approach to design using an iterative development cycle of prototyping and testing.
Experience working in a 3D CAD design environment.
The ability to communicate your ideas to others within your team and across a business.
