Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is seeking a Research Associate to join Professor Jennifer Cleland's team. This role will support the World Health Organization Collaborating Center (WHOCC) for Digital Health and Health Education.

The Research Associate will conduct evidence synthesis (quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods) for systematic reviews in digital health, health education, and medical education. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to impactful research at regional and international levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Doing evidence synthesis and summarizing findings on digital health and health education.

  • Handling reviews for the WHOCC and ensuring they are prepared as per set requirements.

  • Collating reports, articles, and presentations for conference and journals.

  • Using different research methods (quantitative and qualitative) to answer research questions.

  • Analyzing and interpreting research data.

  • Participating in meetings and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Handling the day-to-day activities for projects.

  • Assisting with other project tasks as needed.

Key Competencies and Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Administration, Nursing, Biostatistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, digital health, and health education concepts.

  • Proven experience in evidence synthesis and manuscript writing for publication.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management.

  • Ability to synthesize information from diverse disciplines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

  • Demonstrated reliability and ownership of tasks.

  • Proficiency in computer and technology use.

  • Adaptability and a strong willingness to learn.
