To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.

This role reports into the logistics function under the Singapore based regional supply chain team looking after distribution centers and transportation across 6 countries in, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and India. You will be working Southeast Asia closely with various cross functional teams at the region including marketplace units, marketplace operations, inventory planning as well as country operations teams based in the 6 countries, to enable frictionless operations and drive functional excellence. The role will report into the Regional Logistics Director and will closely support the Regional Transportation manager and Regional Distribution Manager based in Singapore.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and maintaining supply chain processes to increase efficiency and costs saving solutions for every step of the chain. You will support the regional logistics team in executing key processes and initiatives in the area of Inbound /Outbound transportation and distribution centre planning and operations. The role may also require interactions with regional Third-party logistics (3PL) partners and other Logistics Service Providers.

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, and inbound/outbound transportation management with a proven history of delivering results.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or relevant field will be preferred.

  • Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills and proven ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Keen attention to detail, an aptitude for process, and a hunger to continuously learn and grow.

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Cognos, MS office applications; proficiency in Excel including creating spreadsheets, complex formulas, pivot tables, etc. Other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Logistics tools will be an added advantage.

  • Ability to work as strong team player within a diverse group.

  • Any other professional certificates, training in relation to the job will be an added advantage.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Your core responsibilities will include supporting the regional team in managing both tactical operational excellence across Southeast Asia & India (SEA&I) and future oriented capability building initiatives.

Run the Business - Operational Excellence

  • Support regional team in overseeing country operational processes around inbound/outbound transportation and Distribution Centre management.

  • Review and analyse country performance metrics around cost, service and sustainability.

  • Provide visibility to cross functional teams on supply chain metrics and tracking through accurate reporting and analytics.

  • Consolidate relevant inputs from countries to support asks from geography teams around cost, service and sustainability initiatives.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to countries during exceptional scenarios and supply chain disruptions.

Create the Future - Supply Chain Capability Building

  • Support the regional team needs for any network expansion or transformation programs.

  • Work closely with country, regional and geography teams to support requirement gathering, process inputs and deployment for new tools and capabilities.

  • Collate and track information around program budgets, spends and update relevant teams accordingly.

  • Provide updates to cross functional teams regarding the progress and success of new programs and capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute improvement opportunities on supply chain performance metrics like cost, service, efficiency.

  • Support operationalization of any new business strategies or compliance related measures.
