Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security assessments and penetration testing on systems and applications.
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize vulnerabilities and security incidents in cybersecurity.
- Develop and implement testing strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed reports of findings and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor junior staff on cybersecurity best practices and testing methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in a cybersecurity roles, particularly in security testing and assessment.
- Strong understanding of network security, application security, and risk management.
- Familiarity with security tools and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or ISO 27001.
- Certifications such as CEH, Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or CISSP preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information effectively.
