Description

Role: System Integration Engineer – Financial Services

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities

Develop integration solutions utilizing RESTful APIs, web services, and messaging queues to facilitate seamless data exchange between platforms.

Collaborate with software developers, architects, and stakeholders to gather integration requirements and design robust solutions.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues quickly to minimize downtimes and improve system performance.

Document integration processes and maintain best practices for system integration standards.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, information security protocols, and data privacy standards during integration.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in system integration.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in system integration, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong proficiency in RESTful APIs, SOAP, and web service technologies.
  • Experience with message queue systems like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
  • Knowledge of integration platforms/tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and data transformation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards would be a plus.
