What You Will Be Working On
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical and laboratory sessions for full-time and part-time students.
- Plan, review, design and develop course/subject materials.
- Supervise students’ internship and projects.
- Perform collaboration with industry to enhance students’ learning via field trips and overseas programs.
- Qualification in Project & Facilities Management / Building, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Facilities Management, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or sustainability consultancy firm equivalent.
- Extensive hands-on experience with smart building / operational technology including application technologies and standard IT application delivery.
- Possess Fire Safety Manager certification (appointed as FSM to commercial building with at least 2 years experience) will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge in the operation and maintenance of key building facilities, especially Building Management System, Fire Safety Management, ACMV System or Building Security System in large industrial/commercial building.
- Drive digital and smart facilities management to enhance and optimise facilities management operations for improved productivity, efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
- Familiar with Autodesk Revit, BIM Modelling/Management, or IT/Computer Programming
- Able to use analytics tools/Building Management software.
- Able to establish and review IT architecture, design, and implement systems used for facility monitoring, management and workflows.
- Possess interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication ability; to share knowledge and interact with the youth.
