We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is passionate about driving growth and building strong client relationships. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining key accounts, overseeing project management, and driving the overall business strategy. You will play a vital role in nurturing client relationships while ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with our goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the creative consultancy space, including potential clients and partnerships.
  • Work with the marketing team to create compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Prepare, present and lead sales presentations to prospective clients, negotiate contracts and terms, and identify upselling opportunities to boost contractual revenue.
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and industry meetups to represent the company and engage with potential clients.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define business development strategies and long-term goals.
  • Conduct research and analysis of emerging market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.

Account Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Manage the overall client experience, ensuring satisfaction and retention.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of creative projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Reporting:

  • Monitor and report on sales and project performance metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve processes and drive results.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business marketing, Business or related field; MBA is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in an agency environment.
  3. 5 years of experience in project and account management, preferably in a marketing consultancy environment.
  4. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Proven track record of managing multiple projects successfully and meeting tight deadlines.
  6. Strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing channels.
  7. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g. Asana, Trello, Slack, etc.)
  9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and address clients' needs and identify opportunities for upselling.
