We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Collaboration Engineer with a strong background in VOIP installations and network support. The ideal candidate should have the ability to apply their expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco Unified Communications solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customer and partner sales/technical teams to develop Cisco Unified Communications sales, design, installation, and support opportunities.
- Responsible for the design, staging, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support for VOIP installations.
- Manage existing VOIP opportunities and work with Cisco Sales and Technical contacts to develop business growth and knowledge for Unified Communications.
- Plan, design, and implement Cisco Collaboration solutions, ensuring that customer requirements are met with optimal performance.
- Evaluate business unit performance and goals, making necessary adjustments to realign business strategies as needed.
- Oversee network technology refreshes and system upgrades for customers.
- Migrate from legacy PBX systems to Cisco VOIP solutions and from Avaya to Cisco systems.
- Deploy and configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager), Unity Connection (versions 8.0 to 11.5), IM and Presence, and Jabber clients.
- Configure Cisco Expressway solutions for Mobile and Remote access.
- Integrate Cisco Call Manager with Skype for Business 2015 and configure SIP trunking for VOIP systems.
- Design, restructure, and deploy dial plans, transitioning from traditional 4-digit to E164 formats.
- Troubleshoot and resolve voice quality and call routing issues.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) installations, providing technical consultations on VOIP best practices and system optimization.
- Coordinate with ITSPs for SIP trunking troubleshooting and configuration.
- Deploy Cisco Telepresence Management Server with third-party booking systems such as Condeco.
- Install and configure Cisco video endpoints (C40, SX20, SX80) with Speaker Tracker, Ceiling Mics, MX300, and MX800 models.
