Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Maintenance Service Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Elevator and Escalator industry in Singapore. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our maintenance service portfolio, cultivating strong customer relationships, and ensuring the continued success of our elevator and escalator service offerings. You will collaborate with various departments to provide tailored solutions and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development:Promote and sell maintenance services and repairs for elevators, escalators, and related systems.
    Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients in various sectors (e.g., commercial buildings, industrial building, goverment sectors etc.).
    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
    Conduct site surveys and assess client needs to provide customized service packages and solutions.
  2. Technical Consultation & Solution Selling:Provide technical expertise and recommendations to customers regarding maintenance plans, service contracts, repairs services and elevator/escalator systems.
    Prepare and present technical proposals, service agreements, repair quotation to clients.
    Address customer inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
  3. Account Management:Manage the lifecycle of client accounts, ensuring regular maintenance schedules, system performance, repair works and timely renewals of contracts.
    Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, renewals, and contract extensions.
    Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., technical service engineers) to ensure smooth repair work and after-sales service.
  4. Customer Support & Service Delivery:Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, managing escalations, and ensuring the timely delivery of services.
    Act as a liaison between the customer and service team to ensure effective service operations.
    Assist in troubleshooting and coordinating repair or modernization when needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimal Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in sales or business development, preferably in the elevator/escalator or related maintenance service industries.
  • Strong understanding of elevator and escalator systems, maintenance services, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and business growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred, as this role may require travel to client sites.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Singapore’s building regulations (SS550, SS626.Fire code, BCA regulation) and safety standards for elevator and escalator systems.
  • Technical certifications in elevator/escalator maintenance or service are a plus.
  • Experience in managing key accounts and large-scale service contracts.
