About the Job
- Coordinate the different technical activities (conceptual design, built, mobilisation, commission, maintenance and repair)
- Prepare detailed maintenance plans and schedules, including the coordination of dry dockings and planned maintenance & repair activities.
- Track and report on maintenance and repair costs, ensuring expenditure remains within budget.
- Work closely with Commercial department to manage the work schedule within the scope and terms of the contract
- Can work as an independent technical engineer both hands-on and supervision
- Can provide correct reporting on work-done activities
- Has experience in troubleshooting based upon data logging from the units
- Must be able to carry out risk assessments and accident investigations and prepare associated reports concisely
- Providing support for maintenance and maintaining good operations of the fleet
- Responsible for technical issue, coordinate with captain and chief engineer in compliance of the company safety management.
Requirements :
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering related to Vessel Construction
- Experience working with heavy lift vessels
- Experience working as owner rep
- Able to travel overseas
