About The Role

The Senior People Partner for APAC is a critical member of the People (HR) team, responsible for shaping and executing the People strategy in alignment with organizational objectives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, APAC, this role collaborates closely with leadership, managers, and employees to provide strategic and tactical HR support. In this role, you will be a strategic advisor and consultant to business leaders. You will play a pivotal role in driving initiatives related to organizational development, talent management, leadership coaching, and employee engagement. This role requires a proactive, data-driven approach to problem-solving and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic People Partnership

  • Advise senior leaders on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive key HR initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and culture transformation.
  • Support business leaders in fostering a high-performance culture through data-driven decision-making.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Oversee end-to-end onboarding for a seamless new hire experience.
  • Manage offboarding, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
  • Coordinate with IT, Finance, and Workplace teams for operational efficiency.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary contact for employee and manager inquiries.
  • Address employee relations issues, grievances, and performance concerns.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and provide insights for improvement.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Support payroll processes and resolve region-specific inquiries.
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
  • Identify process automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.

Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct compliance audits and provide guidance on policy interpretation.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Drive talent development programs and succession planning.
  • Partner on leadership and professional development initiatives.
  • Facilitate performance management, engagement, and DEI efforts.
  • Support organizational change, design, and transformation strategies.

HR Operations

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies.
  • Collaborate with COEs in compensation, benefits, and talent acquisition.
  • Analyze HR metrics to drive proactive workforce solutions.
  • Support additional People Team initiatives as needed.

Qualifications And Experience

  • 8-10+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably within a fast-paced global organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR within the APAC region, with strong knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, local labor laws and cultural considerations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in data analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement HR programs and solutions collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven approach.
