Oversee Operations, Student Management, Planning & Study Tour
- Oversee Operations, Student Management, Planning & Study Tours
- Oversee overall planning of programmes (including Study Tours), schedules and admission.
- Coordinate with internal and external stake holders on systems and processes to ensure smooth operations of Strategic Business Unit’s (SBU) programmes.
- Manage the implementation of new initiatives, policies, and procedures, as well as the integration into departmental processes.
- Improve and implement department processes and streamlining of processes to ensure operational efficiency and timeliness.
- Ensure students attendance is monitored tightly and student pass matters are settled promptly.
- Ensure that all programmes and student matters are resolved smoothly and promptly.
- Ensure all Study Tours proposals, necessary planning and processing are completed.
Programme Management
- Perform full spectrum of student services administration, including but not limited to:
- Organise, conduct orientation and pre-enrolment for new students
- Coordinate class visits and student survey results to understand students’ needs.
- Ensure proper preparation and follow through of re-module, re-exam, deferments, withdrawals, programme transfer etc.
- Oversee and ensure students’ information is updated in all systems.
- Monitor and prepare information for student pass renewal.
- Support in planning of examination to ensure smooth graduation of students.
- Ensure timely processing of renewal of student pass, system updates, payments etc.
- Counsel students with problems
Student Management & Experience
- Discipline/Counsel students with problems - low attendance, class behaviour etc.
- Manage parents on feedback together with CMs (where needed) and communicate with them on need basis.
- Oversee deferment/withdrawal and identify early issues as well as propose improvements.
- Ensure an effective and timely resolution to feedback.
- Oversee student experience within the SBU and put in place actions to improve it.
Team and performance management
- Oversee team’s performance in terms of efficient intake start and completion, on-time revenue recognition, revenue generation and cost management.
- Ensure team delivers operational efficiency and effectiveness and see if new initiatives should be explored to deliver better outcomes at business unit level as well as organization level.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure SBU maintains compliance of all EduTrust, ISO and ERF requirements.
- Support internal audits where necessary.
Budget Planning and P & L responsibility
- Oversee Budget Planning for the SBU.
- Ensure close monitoring of revenue and costs.
- Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors etc.
Others
- Oversee progression planning from programmes within business unit.
- Strategise and operationalize initiatives on improving progressing rate from within business unit as well as across business unit.
- Work closely with ISR and MCC to support marketing events such as open house, agent conference, webinars to showcase psb academy.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required by RO or company from time to time.
Requirements
- Degree In any discipline.
- 5-7 years with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory role and have relevant working experience in education sector.
- Able to plan, prioritize and organize own work independently to achieve agreed results and, at times, under pressure.
- Operational efficiency and timeliness
- Able to multi-task and lead different teams at same time
- Patient and willing to work with students and parents.
- Positive and willing to champion the team to drive to excellence.
- Open to change and new initiatives.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in the private education sector preferred.
