What Would Be Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Finance business partner on finance-related matters to Senior Management.
  • Coordinate and managing financial consolidation for the subsidiaries in the Group.
  • Maintain full sets of accounting and related financial accounting duties for Singapore & Cayman Islands/BVI entities.
  • Review and update local finance-related policies from time to time.
  • Assist with corporate governance and any other tasks that may be assigned by the management.
  • Manage relationships with external & internal auditors, bankers, and tax authorities and responsible for statutory financial audits.
  • Lead annual audit process and liaise with external & Internal auditors for any queries across the group.
  • Manage and provide instructions to company secretaries of the local subsidiaries from time to time.
  • Coordinate with local finance teams in monthly closing and posting journal entries.
  • Analyze margin and variance differences for group reporting.
  • Drive system integration and experience in introducing automatic payment functions and expense claim automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and lead ERP system implementation.
  • Assisting with compliance reviews from time to time.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as per required.

What We Require From You:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6-8 years relevant working experience, preferably with multinational company with group-level exposure and with turnover exceeding USD50M.
  • Supervisory experience will be an advantage.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc.) is advantageous.
  • Experience with Singapore, Hong Kong and International Financial Reporting accounting standards.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin (handle queries in regards with the accounting matters).
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc).
  • Familiar with compliance requirements of multinational companies in the financial services industry.
