
Investment Performance Analyst - 6 Months Contract
- 6 Months Contract Position that has potential for Permanent Conversion.
- Salary to $8,000 per month, plus bonus (depending on experience)

Role Responsibilities
As a Performance Operations System/FactSet Support, your main focus will be to support and maintain our FactSet Systems (B-One system and FactSet (SPAR/PA) system), used by the Performance team for the production of performance measurement, reporting and attribution analysis.
You will also support our enterprise-wide operating model for Performance & Analytics (“P&A”) Reporting, that would include integration with our proprietary database called HERA for downstream reporting in HERA and ATHENA Dashboards, and with our data providers (Fund Accountants & Middle Office Service Provider) for all data related queries & feeds.
In addition, you will have supplementary responsibilities that would include ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of investment performance and analytical reporting for various stakeholders, that include Portfolio Managers, Client Groups (Sales and Marketing), Senior Management and Local Business Units (LBUs).
Maintenance of our FactSet Systems: B-One system, and FactSet (SPAR/PA) system.
Conduct & support data reconciliation in between our FactSet Systems.
Conduct, support & maintain set-ups, configurations, workflows and data checks in our FactSet Systems and in the P&A Operating Workflow.
Investigate & resolve breaks and potential issues related to the P&A Operating Workflow, by identify root cause, by engaging stakeholders (FactSet counterparts, HERA engineers and Data Providers e.g. Fund accountants and Middle Office service provider) and by working towards proper resolution.
Escalate timely errors, processes gaps and other inaccuracies as needed.
Liase & work closely with the key stakeholders for re-designing process flows and for maintenance of our FactSet Systems and our P&A Operating Workflow.
Maintain stakeholder relationships and manage expectations.
Answer & support query on fund and benchmark returns, asset returns or attribution results.
Ensure all new procedures are documented and agreed.
Identify and execute continuous process improvement and automation.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
5 years relevant experience in support & maintaining Performance or Attribution system, for performance analysis, investment risk analysis or similar role.
Experience in using Factset Systems (preferably FactSet (SPAR/PA/Vault) system, B-One is a plus).
Implementation / System Migration experience of a Performance or Attribution system is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar field.
Understanding of portfolio analysis including performance calculation methodologies and risk analytics.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex formulas and financial instruments (eg: derivatives).
Strong knowledge of Excel and SQL queries.
Good Python, C# and VBA skillset to support data transformation & workflow automation
CIPM or CFA is preferred (or working towards.).
