We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operational Finance Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing operational finance functions, ensuring smooth AP and AR processes, overseeing cash flow and forecasting, and performing cost accounting and project-based financial analysis. Additionally, the role will support grant submissions, audits, and collections to ensure compliance and timely fund disbursement.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Finance & Accounting

  • Handle end-to-end AP and AR processes, including invoicing, payments, collections, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Cash Flow Management & Forecasting

  • Monitor daily cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimal cash management.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and recommend strategies to optimize working capital.
  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions on cash-related matters.

Cost Accounting & Financial Analysis

  • Allocate costs to projects and business units to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Analyze cost structures, profitability, and variances to support decision-making.
  • Support preparation of financial reports and insights to improve operational efficiency.

Grant Management & Compliance

  • Assist in preparing and submitting government grant applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.
  • Support grant audits by compiling necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
  • Track and follow up on grant disbursements and collections to ensure timely receipt of funds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or cost analysis.
  • Good knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software SAP B1 and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
