The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the seamless execution of broadcast services for live sports events. This role ensures that all broadcasting operations, from pre-event planning to post-event analysis, run efficiently, and meet the highest quality standards. - Responsible for end-to-end service delivery for live sports events, troubleshooting, and rapid response to any operational issues. Ensure live feeds are delivered without disruptions across multiple platforms (TV, OTT, digital streaming).
- Must be capable of screening the sports content, especially football, Formula One, Basketball, Tennis, etc. & should have a strong understanding of audio layout, tracks, Profile & sports content.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal team & ensure clear communication and alignment with all stakeholders before, during, and after events.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical crews, logistics teams, and venue staff. Ensure adequate staffing, training, and readiness of all teams involved in service delivery & compliance with contractual agreements.
- Identify potential risks in service delivery and develop contingency plans. Must act quickly for troubleshooting and resolve technical issues & implement real-time solutions during live events. Conduct post-event analysis and implement improvements for future events.
- Responsible for coordinating with IT and broadcast teams to integrate emerging technologies for enhanced event delivery & ensure seamless streaming, broadcasting, and on-site technology performance.
- Ensure all events adhere to regulatory, safety, and industry standards & manage budgets related to service delivery, optimizing costs without compromising quality. SDM must maintain accurate documentation and reporting for financial and operational tracking.
- Proficiency in event technology, broadcast operations, and digital platforms
- Fluent English speaker and able to communicate effectively in writing
- Exceptional problem-solving and crisis-management abilities
- Should be able to translate user requirements into technical requirements and technical specifications.
- Should be able to work in a team & must be deadline-driven.
- Ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Should be able to analyze problems determine root causes and provide solutions
- Ability to perform in rotation shift
