Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including logistics, scheduling, and vendor management.
- Source and liaise with vendors, including caterers, venues, and entertainment providers.
- Manage event budgets and track expenses.
- Coordinate event setup and breakdown.
- Handle event registration and attendee communication.
- Provide on-site event support and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with post-event evaluations and reporting.
- Maintain accurate event records and documentation.
- Support marketing and promotional efforts for events.
- Respond to inquiries from attendees and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- A passion for events and a customer-focused attitude.
- Previous event planning experience is a plus.
