COLLIN'S is hiring CASHIER, < 30hrs/week >
As a Cashier, your primary responsibility is to accurately process customer transactions. You will interact directly with customers, handling payments, providing change, and issuing receipts. Your role involves not only accurate transaction processing but also excellent customer service.
Responsibilities (Key Result Areas & Activities)
· Provide a positive customer experience through fair, friendly and courteous service
· Process sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers’purchases
· Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers
· Verify the accuracy of pricing
· Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy and sufficient change
· Assist with packing food as needed and when required.
· Interact pleasantly with customers to ensure satisfaction
· Maintain general cleanliness
· Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager
Required to - KNOW (Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours)
· Entry level are welcome
· Able to perform well during high-volume peak hours
· Customer oriented, agile, energetic and a team player
· Availability to work on weekend and public holidays
