Job Title: Bowling Alley Manager
Location: Gallop Bowl Singapore
Job Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Off on Mondays)
Job Summary:
Gallop Bowl is seeking an experienced and proactive Bowling Alley Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a bowling alley, strong leadership skills, and the ability to enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) among staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & SOP Compliance: Supervise and guide staff to ensure all SOPs are followed, including safety protocols, customer service standards, and facility maintenance.
- Customer Experience Management: Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for customers by overseeing lane assignments, addressing concerns, and maintaining high service quality.
- Safety Briefings: Conduct and oversee safety briefings for bowling events and ensure all staff are trained to do the same.
- Communication & Enquiries: Handle and delegate email and WhatsApp inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Facility & Equipment Oversight: Ensure bowling lanes, machines, and common areas are well-maintained and operational. Coordinate maintenance and repairs when needed.
- Staff Training & Scheduling: Train new hires, manage work schedules, and evaluate staff performance to uphold service excellence.
- Event & Operations Management: Oversee group bookings, corporate events, and parties to ensure seamless execution.
- Cash Handling & Reporting: Monitor daily transactions, handle cash reconciliation, and generate sales and operational reports.
- Issue Resolution: Address escalated customer complaints and operational challenges promptly.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a bowling alley is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to enforce SOPs and maintain a high standard of operations.
- Proficiency in handling email, WhatsApp, and POS systems.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
