Senior Retail Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Retail Designer, you will work closely with the creative director to develop outstanding and experiential retail designs. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to liaise effectively with clients. You will be responsible for crafting engaging and innovative designs while ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
MAIN DUTIES
- Lead retail design projects from conceptualization to execution
- Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and present design solutions
- Oversee project management, ensuring deliverables are met within timeline and budget constraints
- Develop and produce detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to execute design concepts
- Create and refine 3D models and rendered visuals to project specifications
- Stay updated on industry innovations, trends, and consumer behaviors
- Provide design solutions that enhance consumer engagement in retail and travel retail environments
- Ensure high standards in sketching, 3D visualization, and design presentation
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in retail design, store planning, or shopper engagement, preferably within the APAC region
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Art, Design, Creative Multimedia, Architecture, or equivalent
- Strong experience in project management and client handling
- Ability to develop detailed technical drawings and documentation
- Experience in consumer brand environments, retail innovation, and multi-touchpoint retail solutions
- A proactive approach to technology, software, and industry advancements
- Experience with Millennials brands is essential; experience with beauty and luxury brands is a plus
- Strong presentation and persuasion skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English
- AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator and InDesign knowledge is an added advantage
