  • Manage IT-related meetings and committees, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Monitor submission schedules and manage planning issues to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Head Office in Tokyo and APAC management, to ensure cohesive strategy development and execution.
  • Acts as a liaison between HO and ASO, compiling and submitting materials in Japanese for management meetings, such as the System Management Meeting, which includes parts from each regional system office.
  • Coordinates agendas with HO PICs during management's business trips to HO, ensuring smooth communication and organization.

Strategic Partnership and Ad-hoc Support

  • Act as a strategic partner to ASO management, providing proactive support in organizational strategy development and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Ensure timely responses to emerging issues, contributing to ASO's strategic direction.

Outsourcing, Cost Optimization, and Organizational Transformation

  • Manage IT outsourcing to MUFG's strategic subsidiary to optimize costs and improve service delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive organizational transformation initiatives to enhance IT capabilities and align with strategic goals.

Reporting and Coordination

  • Prepare department and regional monthly IT reporting and forecasting to the head office.
  • Assist in creating reports and presentation materials for management meetings, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Coordinate closely with the regional planning office, ASO branch planning department, and Head Office IT Planning department.
  • Liaise with Tokyo Head Offices and support their initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Supervise a small team, providing guidance and support for professional growth and development. This team includes Shared Services function to ensure efficient support for various operational tasks.
  • Provide guidance and support for team members' professional growth and development.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in IT Planning.
  • Minimum JLPT N1 Certification or a degree in Japanese university or equivalent is required to interpret and communicate requirements to the Tokyo Head Office, where primary business communication is in Japanese and work in partnership with the management.
  • Experience in managing IT function matters, including IT strategy, IT solution, and deployment of new technologies.
  • Experience in liaising with head office and various subsidiaries within the APAC region.
  • Proven track record in a team manager role, with strong organizational skills and strong communication skills.
  • Leadership and people management skills, in deploying and developing talent across the region.
  • Independent with good analytical and interpersonal skills, planning and monitoring abilities.
