Purpose of Role and Objectives:
The Spa Attendant is responsible to ensure the highest quality of guest service and cleanliness throughout the spa, including the bathhouse. Responsibilities will also include processing the laundry/linen of the spa, handing it off to cleaning vendors and restocking clean laundry and linens throughout the spa.
Essential Job Functions:
- Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
- Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
- Document all guests’ requests, complaints or problems immediately and notify designated personnel for resolving the situation and follow up in a timely manner
- Assist with inventory of all amenities
- Address guests complaints with empathy, and courtesy, always finding a resolution that they feel is satisfactory. Never allow a guest to leave unsatisfied
- Assist with Spa and bathhouse cleanliness and presentation removing garbage, assisting with towels and laundry, setting rooms and spa at end of shift and clean and sanitize all surfaces
- Assist with filling and draining cold plunge tubs, cleaning cold plunge tubs and saunas upon opening, closing and between appointments.
- Assist with troubleshooting cold plunge tubs and saunas if necessary (training will be provided).
- Properly open and close spa each day according to standard operational procedures
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously. Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well-organized work area
- Upholds the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and establishment
- Ability to work without constant direct supervision and maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and colleague meetings for the spa
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving colleague or guests in the spa that require attention
Key Competencies and Skills:
- High School Graduate
- Possess a good command of the English and the ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests
- Ability to provide legible communication
- Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of computers
- Responsible

- Detail-oriented with strong ability to multitask
- Ability to assist in emergency situations
