Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of the network infrastructure supporting Client's Shared Offices across the APAC region, ensuring alignment with Client’s Central's network designs, strategy, and policies.
  • Serve as the primary and on-site (Singapore) support contact for operations teams, and subsidiaries integrating with or currently using Shared Office network resources.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic regional network initiatives, using an analytical approach to identify opportunities for group-level efficiencies and cost optimization.
  • Proactively work with Operations teams to review network performance, analyze network events and security incidents, and implement preventative measures to address bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and security risks. Manage network inventories, proactively maintain warranties and maintenance schedules for critical network equipment and implement and maintain necessary security measures in collaboration with global and regional security teams.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, operational procedures, change management processes, and disaster recovery plans. Contribute to the development and maintenance of Client’s Network Blueprints, providing APAC-specific context and repeatable solutions.
  • Accountable for the full lifecycle of regional network projects, from developing business cases and performing implementations.
  • Involvement in device deployments, configurations, and patching within office environments. Implementing and supporting the deployment of enterprise-level network solutions, including firewalls (Meraki MX, FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks), switches (Meraki, Cisco, Huawei), wireless access points (Meraki, Cisco, Huawei), and other necessary network devices.
  • Oversee P1/P2 network troubleshooting efforts, guiding operations members and peers, and leading root cause analysis of complex issues, primarily for the Singapore Telco node (data centers) but potentially extending to other Asia Telco Nodes and globally.
  • Manage incident and change support, on-site operations (including device installations and cabling), troubleshooting, and governance activities within the Singapore Telco Node (data centers) on behalf of the Client’s Network Central team. Proactively notify and serve as the primary technical contact for regional team to clarify the impacts of planned changes in Client’s Shared environments.
  • Manage network-related projects for the Singapore Telco Node, deploying hardware, patching, preparing configurations, and collaborating with vendors and central teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Effectively collaborate with technology partners, vendors, and Central IT teams to enforce governance, deliver timely and successful project outcomes, and maintain seamless network operations. Organize network communities across the region to promote the sharing of solutions and best practices and capture new topics for Client’s Central’s attention. Ensure that Client Network Central standards are known, enforced, and used regionally.
  • Establish and maintain detailed network documentation, inventories, change management procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of extensive network administration and implementation experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.), network security concepts, and firewall technologies (Cisco/Huawei Routers, Switches, Meraki MX/MS, FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks)
  • Prior experience handling network deployments and planning in office and data center environments is must.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex network outages quickly
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with presentation skills, effective in both technical and non-technical settings
  • Experience working in a multinational environment with complex organizations and across various teams
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on problem-solving and constant service improvement
