JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop new industrial machinery, tools, and equipment based on production needs, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of industrial machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning and identify areas for improvement.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, perform necessary repairs, and ensure equipment is restored to full functionality.
- Oversee the installation of new machinery and tools, ensuring proper setup and calibration for production operations.
- Ensure all machinery and tools comply with safety regulations and industry standards, and ensure safe operating practices are followed at all times.
- Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of production processes through machinery and tools upgrades or optimization strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance schedules, repairs, replacements, and technical specifications.
- Work closely with production teams, engineers, and management to understand requirements and ensure smooth integration of machinery into production workflows.
- Monitor equipment and tool costs and recommend strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality and productivity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Qualification is required field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in machinery design, maintenance, and optimization in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and tools, including design, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for design and simulation.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is prefered
- Greater Knowledge of safety standards and regulations relevant to industrial machinery and tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Ability to ensure precision and high-quality standards in design, maintenance, and operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with various departments and report findings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Relevant certifications in machinery operation, maintenance, or health and safety (e.g., OSHA, ISO certifications) are a plus.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- 2A/2B/ Class 3 prefered Preferably posses own transport. (Required to travel from time to time)
- Willing to do rotating shift and multi tasking is required
- Able to work long hours and available especially on weekends and public holidays in line with business needs, the flexibility to work late evenings with prolonged period of standing (strictly off day on weekdays)
- Ability to work under pressure and fit into work culture
