Housemade cakes, tarts and pastries entice through the day.

Events

  • Convert inquiries into successful/confirmed events
  • Execution of operational activities for various individual events
  • Able to articulate the venue professionally towards all potential guest
  • Handle incoming enquiries and update events management system
  • Perform site-inspections for potential clients
  • Attend or conduct event briefings on weekly basis
  • On-site event management
  • Pro-actively reach out for revenue opportunities within events sales for both private as well as corporate accounts
  • Attention to detail and propose different insights for returning customers
  • Handle events client database
  • Handle off-site catering
  • Any ad-hoc duties as per assigned by supervisors

Reservations

  • Handle enquiry via phone calls, emails and social media messages from the customers, in a prompt and respectful manner..
  • Ensuring that all guests are well taken care of and that they all have an outstanding and memorable experience from before the set foot at the restaurant until they leave the restaurant.
  • Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the reception. Update the managers of reservation forecast and for VIP bookings.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by welcoming visitors and partners and answering any questions people might have about the restaurant.
  • Keen understanding of offerings within concepts of both restaurants.
  • Handle enquiry via phone calls, emails and social media messages from the customers, in a prompt and respectful manner.
  • Updating menus on website and partner websites.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Communication: Talk to guests, listening to their needs and presenting ideas and solutions to their requirements. Always thinking about how to create little moments for the guests. Customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Calm under Pressure: Ability to remain calm during crisis and the pressure of high call/email volume.
  • Negotiation Skills: Need negotiation skills to work out the best way to plan the sitting arrangements for lunch/dinner service.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Being able to quickly resolve issues.
