Commissioning engineer mechanical - Contract
Job Description:
Participate in the Offshore Substation Project team and give support to the commissioning manager.
The Commissioning Engineer mechanical is responsible for overseeing and management of commissioning of mechanical equipment.
Each member of the Project Team is responsible for the quality of his/her own work in accordance with the requirements of the Project Manual and the documents referenced therein.
· Act as Commissioning Engineer within the Project, onshore with possibility for offshore participation.
· Ensure that Contractors, in accordance with contractual documents:
- develops commissioning procedures for the commissioning packages
- develops commissioning plans/schedules
- defines required tools, commissioning spare parts, test equipment and consumables
- exercises commissioning of mechanical systems
· Oversee and support Contractor commissioning activities for offshore commissioning of offshore substations.
· Provide progress reporting regarding own activities.
· Provide required input to ProCoSys.
· Liaison with Basis organization to share lessons learned during the commissioning of the project.
· Processing of Commissioning documentation and issuing of Ready For Operation Certificates.
· Give input to the Commissioning experience report covering all phases of the project
Requirements:
· University degree in engineering or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from development projects.
· Longer relevant experience may compensate for less formal education
