We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to serve as the single point of contact for migrating, consolidating, and managing extensive data from Excel files across multiple departments. This role is critical in ensuring that high-quality, clean, and well-documented data is transformed into a key version for seamless integration into our systems by the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Migration & Integration:Migrate and consolidate large volumes of data from various Excel files and departmental sources.
  • Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure smooth data integration.
  • Data Cleaning & Transformation:Cleanse and standardize raw data to maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain data models and schemas to structure data in a developer-friendly format.
  • Documentation & Communication:Create detailed documentation including data dictionaries, flow diagrams, and process maps.
  • Act as a liaison between departmental stakeholders and developers to capture requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Data Quality & Governance:Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance protocols.
  • Continuously monitor and update data processes to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
  • Reporting & Analytics:Develop reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to visualize key metrics and trends.
  • Provide actionable insights and support decision-making through thorough data analysis.
  • Project & Process Management:Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure data updates are passed to the development team in a timely manner.
  • Continuously improve data handling processes and integrate feedback from stakeholders.

Required Skillset:

  • Technical Expertise:Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros) and strong command of data manipulation techniques.
  • Experience with ETL processes, SQL, and at least one programming language (Python, R, etc.) for data transformation and automation.Knowledge of data modeling, database management, and documentation best practices.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:Strong analytical capabilities with a keen eye for detail in data cleansing and transformation.
  • Ability to diagnose data issues, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration:Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly between business units and development teams.
  • Project Management:Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to continuously refine processes and integrate new tools as needed.
