Presales Engineer
Responsibilities
1.Provide expert technical pre-sales support for IT Infrastructure opportunities involving Server,network product and solutions.
2.Early engagement with customer in selling network solutions – RFQ & tender
3.Understand and gather customer requirements and offer complete & cost effective solution.
4.Prepare solution writeup, bill of material and engage Service Delivery team for professional effort
5.Ensure the completeness of technical terms and conditions
6.Conduct/Lead in technical presentation and clarification
7.Identify project risk (technical & execution) and provide mitigation measures
8.Integrate network solutions with support from other competency presales solutions consultant.
9.Upon contract award; conduct transition/ handover and briefing to project implementation team on the overall solution and design.
10.Keep updated of the latest technology and develop technical capability slides.
11.Attain selected product/technology certifications to maintain our premium partnership status with product principals
12.Conduct in-house technology sharing to fellow peers.
Requirement
1.Diploma/Degree in IT related fields
2.5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or similar roles
3.Strong technical expertise and understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and enterprise backup solutions
4.Experience in Solutioning and managing VMWare, Citrix, Pure Storage, Active Directory,M365,LDAP/LDAPS, RADIUS protocol
5. Storage knowledge of newtwork and cyber security,Network Certified – CCNA/CCNP will be ideal
6.Good knowledge in virtualization and cloud (IaaS) technology
7.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand business value
8. Customer service oriented, good team player, technically inclined
9.Proven track record of successfully supporting sales teams and closing deals
10.Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
