Job Description:

Reporting to the Principal, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and overall management of the preschool.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and professional development by providing insights and guidance, and mentoring teachers on pedagogy, teaching methods, and the effective use of tools and resources.
  • Lead the development of strategies for parent engagement, community involvement, and talent management.
  • Oversee and optimize the management of center resources, such as staff scheduling, inventory control, and managing controllable expenses.
  • Implement and manage specific center programs, initiatives, and events.
  • Handle various administrative tasks related to the smooth operation of the center.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE) or a Degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership (DPL) is an added advantage but is not compulsory
  • Experience: 3-5 years in early childhood education, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Familiar with ECDA regulations and EYDF.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about child development and early childhood education.
